Unlike many others within this profession, my journey has been riddled with twists and turns. A passion for writing and editing has always lived inside me, yet I initially chose to pursue my interests in science. After graduating with a BSc in Biomedical Genetics and MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology, I entered the corporate world as a Study Manager for genetics services and then switched to a research and development role in a small cancer diagnostics company. Throughout my studies and various careers, I offered my love and expertise for editing and writing to myriad individuals, gaining experience with theses, CVs and cover letters, publications, website pages and much more. It was here I discovered my enthusiasm for helping people perfect their written work.
